Need help in using WebMO?

You may see something like:

This occurs whenever someone uses a browser that has accessed a WebMO 8 (or earlier) installation, then accesses WebMO 9 on that same installation (likely without closing the browser 1st). It has to do with cookies stored on the computer.

WebMO keeps track of last server/engine the user selected via a cookie, that way it can be restored when they come back to the "choose engine" page. The cookies are only supposed to last till the end of the session, but sometimes they are retained even after the browser is closed.

  1. just run a job (go to the job options page and back)
  2. OR: Clear the cookies in the browser.
  3. OR: (in theory) Close the browser, and the cookies should expire automatically.
